It's time to get some of those things done that you were going to get done this summer.  If you’re like me there are always some things on the bottom of your summer to-do list that just don't get done.  There is still time to get a few of them done though before the weather gets to wet and cold to do.

Last week I winterized my chicken coop.  Last weekend my wife and I repainted our storage shed and touched up a few spots on the house that needed it.

My gutters still need some work before all the leaves start falling.  They are getting old and this may be the year that they will need replacing.  I will need to make that decision soon.

Our yards need some winterizing also.  I like to get my hoses put away for the winter.  I also dismantle my watering systems in my gardens.  It's nice to get this done before it gets to cold and wet.

My gardens will also need a lot of work to get them ready for the winter.  I will get started on this project this week in “Joseph in the Garden”.
