U.S. 26 is now open between U.S. 101 and milepost 10. ODOT officials in Clatsop County are still requesting that motorists postpone or delay travel on coastal corridors that have been impacted by downed trees, debris and high standing water for a few more hours or until the major weather system subsides.

A Coos Bay man received minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when the commercial truck he was driving was blown onto its side by a strong wind gust as it traveled across the Alsea Bay Bridge just north of Waldport.

Rain and winds that knocked down branches and trees closed Highway 18 to the Oregon Coast Tuesday.
