Fugitive arrested in Tennessee brought back to Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- After three-and-a-half months on the run, Eugene police have arrested a man accused in a home invasion robbery and sexual assault in the Coburg Road area.

31-year-old Jackson Harpol was arrested in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday.

Harpol was brought back to Eugene on Monday.

He's accused of breaking into a home off Coburg Road in the early morning hours of July 24.

Police say he sexually assaulted an elderly woman living there and stole her car.

The car was later found in Portland.
