Eugene teenager sentenced for killing two while fleeing police

Emanuel Herrera-Gutierrez will spend time in prison and be deported for killing two people in March of 2012.

My main thought is why, if they are going to deport him after he completes his sentence why don't they just deport him now and save the State of Oregon the $200,000+ that it would cost to incarcerate him?????????

If he would have been deported when found out he was an illegal, instead of being allowed to stay in the u.s.a., 2 people would still be alive today.
