Boston honors victims of Marathon Bombings

BOSTON -- Tuesday marks exactly one year since the deadly attack at the finish line of the boston marathon.

Thousands, including dignitaries like Vice President Joe Biden, gathered inside the Hynes Convention Center Tuesday to remember the lives lost on April 15, 2013.

“We are Boston, we are America. We respond, we endure we overcome, and we own the finish line,” said Biden.

The family members of those lost joined survivors in also speaking at the memorial, finding courage in their shared recovery.
“There were many moments we could have not made it through had it not been for one another,” said Adrianne Haslet-Davis, one of the survivors.
