Eugene (KMTR) – Traffic will be restricted to one lane, alternating directions, for two days on part of 24th Avenue in south Eugene while Eugene Water and Electric Board crews repair a burst water main.

The eastbound lane of 24th Avenue between Patterson Street and Amazon Parkway will be closed and flaggers will control traffic. Drivers should expect short delays.

The 30-inch main burst Tuesday afternoon. Water service to nearby businesses and homes was not interrupted.

The closure is expected to last until about 5 p.m. Thursday.
