UPDATE: The Douglas County Sheriff's received information that a Mercedes matching the description of the one associated with Bonita Travess, 42, a missing endangered adult reported to the Winston Police Department on Sunday, December 11, 2011 was located in the in the Green District near Roseburg. 

Detectives responded to find Travess deceased inside of her vehicle. The death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

Next of kin has been notified.

Winston (KMTR) – Police in Winston, south of Roseburg, say a woman from Springfield is missing and possibly endangered.

Bonita June Travess was last seen in the Winston area about 5:00 a.m. Sunday by her sister. Family members say they believe she is in danger.

Travess was driving a 2005 white Mercedes 4-door sedan with Oregon license plate 506 ECA. She is described as 5’6” tall, weighing about 138 pounds. She has long brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact Winston Police or the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

They found her today in her car deceased. No foul play expected.

People that know her, know her as Bunny. Why is she in danger? That's kind of a big piece of the story to just leave out.
