UPDATE: Highway 34 re-opened after head-on collision

ALSEA, Ore. (KMTR) -- Highway 34 re-opened tonight after a two-vehicle head on crash closed the road earlier this evening.

The crash happened after 6 PM Sunday, September 23 about eight miles east of Alsea, at Milepost 31 near the Lincoln-Benton County line. 

ODOT says at least one person incurred significant injuries in the crash.
