Eugene (KMTR) – Oregon Duck football player Josh Huff has pleaded not guilty to a drunken driving charge.

Huff appeared in Eugene Municipal Court Friday morning to answer to charges resulting from a traffic stop on the University of Oregon Campus on March 3.  Huff was initially stopped for speeding at 18th Avenue and Friendly Street in south Eugene. The officer said he was cooperative.

He was charged with DUII, speeding and driving without a license. No trial date has been set.

So far, Oregon Head Football Coach Chip Kelly has not made any public comment about Huff’s status.

The junior wide receiver played in 12 games last season, with 21 catches for 430 total yards.
