SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (KMTR) -- The TrackTown 12 Olympic Trials are over and packed up at Hayward Field, but organizers are still cleaning up and now in the process of off loading some unique event gear for cheap.

The TrackTown 12 event organizers are now selling tons of leftover Nike clothes, event posters, banners and memorabilia at Travel Lane County’s Springfield headquarters.

All of the gear for sale was specially made for the event and now more than half off the price for most items.

Tons of clothes are up for grabs, including men’s and women’s sweatshirts, Nike Dri-Fit workout t-shirts, the thin plastic rain jackets and green t-shirts that volunteers wore during the event, also hats, lanyards, water bottles and more.

All of the gear is part of a limited run and its only available to purchase locally, in person, not online.

“It's not just folks in Eugene that take this to heart and have a love for TrackTown, and these are just mementos of that, and so getting to hear people tell their stories about, you know, 'so and so sent me in AGAIN because they wanted more of this or that or the other thing,’ really is a special thing to get remind of what TrackTown means not just for us, but others around the country,” says Samara Phelps, Manager of Travel Lane County’s Eugene, Cascades & Coast Adventure Center.

The gear will be up for sale at Travel Lane County’s “Adventure Center” on Gateway Street in Springfield everyday until it is either gone or the interest wanes. The sale’s hours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All of the sale money raised goes back to the “Local Organizing Committee,” which is the group that helped get the Trials held in Eugene in 2008 and 2012.
