Ticket scalpers look to profit off not-for-profit Eugene Dalai Lama event

A Lane County couple is sharing its frustration over what some people are doing with tickets to an upcoming Dalai Lama lecture in Eugene, reselling the tickets through online scalping websites in order to make big bucks off of the not-for-profit event.

I'm surprised that with such a low price the UofO didn't limit the number of tickets an individual could purchase. It seemed pretty obvious that people would take advantage of this rare occasion try and turn a quick buck. These people need to be mad at the UofO for how they handled the selling of the tickets, not the people choosing to venture into capitalism.
