Corvallis (KMTR) - Benton County authorities arrested three people on ID theft and other charges after they searched a room at a Motel 6 in Corvallis.

Investigators say they recovered methamphetamine as well as stolen mail, driver's licenses, credit cards, Social Security cards, a laptop computer and a printer.

Arrested were Jamie Lee Neil, 40, Jason Michael McLaren, 32, and 27-year-old Christopher Franz Herrmann.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says two of the suspects had blank check security paper and magnetic ink, which is used to make checks bank-compliant.

They say evidence indicates several of the items came from car break-ins near the Oregon State University campus.
