Sweet Home (KMTR) – Sweet Home High School’s athletic director has been arrested and charged with five counts of third-degree sexual abuse.
Kostanty Stephen Knurowski, 33, is also the boys' basketball coach.
Sweet Home Police say Knurowski had an ongoing pattern of sexual abuse involving a juvenile female student for about seven months during the 2009-2010 school year.
Investigators say they received a complaint from the family of the former student and began investigating their allegations on March 26.
Knurowski was arrested Wednesday morning and was booked into the Linn County Jail.
