EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- The Lane County Sheriff's Office is working on a death investigation after a man was found dead inside his Glenwood home. The Sheriff's office isn't saying much about the death right now other than it's suspicious.

LCSO spokesperson Sergeant Carrie Carver says the 49-year-old man's caretaker found him dead Thursday morning inside his duplex on Brooklyn Street, just east of I-5 and south of Franklin Boulevard.

Sergeant Carver said the man's been dead for about a day and they're still trying to figure out what happened. "If anybody does have any information directly related to the death of this gentleman we're definitely interested in that." Sergeam. Carver says the victim was the only one inside the home at the time.

The man's name is not being released until his family has been contacted.
