EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) - Eugene Police made an arrest in the latest Little Caesar’s robbery Friday night and connected the suspect to at least one other case.

Five pizza restaurants have been targeted by a robber since last Tuesday.

Cammeron Mikkelsen, a local homeless man, was arrested on a city bus Friday night. Eugene Police say he was trying to get away after robbing the Little Caesar’s on Seneca Road, just after 7:30PM.  An employee ran after Mikkelsen after he showed the cashier a note saying he had a gun and demanding cash. Officers did find the stolen money with Mikkelsen but not a weapon.

In the last week-and-a-half, three Little Caesar’s and a Dominos Pizza have been robbed in Eugene and Springfield. After Mikkelsen’s arrest in Eugene, a Springfield officer identified him as the suspect in the Little Caesar’s robbery on Q Street.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for all five crimes, but aren’t saying yet if they can connect Mikkelsen to the other three robberies.
