Suspect accused of robbing lottery customer at Gateway Shari's

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (KMTR) -- Springfield Police are looking for a man who robbed a restaurant with a gun early Christmas morning.

The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 25th, 2011, at the Shari’s Restaurant on Beltline Road in the Gateway area of Springfield.

Police say a man walked into the restaurant’s video lottery section, threatened an employee and a customer with a gun, then stole the customer’s lottery winnings and took off.

The suspect is described as an adult white male with a medium build, between 5’8’’ to 5’10’’ tall with short blonde hair and between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
