Springfield (KMTR) - Shortly after midnight Saturday, police received a call from the owner of the Pump Cafe, who said the alarm to his business had gone off.  The owner went to the cafe on Main Street, and found a man entering through a window, and later leaving through a door.  He followed the suspect on foot and stayed on the phone with police.  Officers caught up with the two just a block away at city hall.
31-year-old Tony Carr was arrested on burglary charges.  He had stolen property from the cafe, which was all recovered, and the business opened as usual later in the morning.
