SPRINGFIELD, EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- Springfield and Eugene Police are investigating two pizza shop robberies in the area that may be connected.
Springfield Police say a man robbed a Little Caesars restaurant on Q Street around 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013.
Police say the suspect told employees he had a gun, but didn’t show it. Police say the suspect then ran east on Q Street. A police K9 was unable to located the suspect.
Springfield Police say the same suspect may be connected to a robbery at a Dominos Pizza on 25th and Willamette Street on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
The suspect is described as a “very thin” white man, between 20 and 30 years old with a long “reddish” beard. Police say the suspect was wearing a red beanie, green snowboard jacket and “brown-maroonish” pants.

Friday’s Little Caesars robbery in Springfield is the fourth restaurant robbery in the Eugene-Springfield area over the last week. The first two robberies happened on Monday in Eugene. A Taco Time restaurant in north Eugene was robbed, then another Little Caesars restaurant in west Eugene was robbed. It is unknown if the two robberies earlier in the week are connected to the ones on Thursday and Saturday.
