EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) - SportsOne is preparing for cleanup over the weekend after the track and field trials close on Sunday.

SportsOne, the group who constructed the additional bleachers for Hayward, set up the Starting Block and hosted the fan festival, is a marketing and consulting firm with a focus on sports. They were hired to help plan out the 2012 track and field trials immediately following the 2008 event.

"It's gone really smooth," said Jim Etzel, CEO of the company.

Etzel said they've received a lot of positive feedback about the 2012 festivities and the group is hoping to return in 2016. So far, they believe tear down will be a lot easier than set up, since set up was the most difficult part yet.

"The most challenging part was that the trials were a week earlier than they were in 2008 so that pushed us into the U of O calendar a lot more. We overlapped with graduation which creates a lot of logistical deals," he said.

The group had a short amount of time to get everything in to the complex, covering nearly four acres.

"Camp Victory was a significant build out, it was very complex," Etzel said.
