Shooting in Springfield leaves 2 in hospital

Springfield (KMTR) – Police are investigating a shooting that left two victims in the hospital early Monday morning. Officers responded to a West Springfield home around 1:30 a.m.  Neighbors say a dispute over a loud party led to an altercation.  The two victims were treated and released from a local hospital.  Police say everyone involved was contacted, and the investigation is still open.  No word on whether the alleged shooter will face criminal charges.
