Oops, I got carried away and forgot my main topic. Save Energy! Ok here is what is going to happen with that. You and I are going to save energy, and then what happens? Eweb will have a revenue short fall because everyone saved energy really well. The next logical step when there is a revenue shortfall is raise the rates to cover that shortfall. Do you see where this is going, huh?

Here we go again. The rate hike for EWEB supposedly is because BPA raised their rates. While this may be part of the problem, I would be willing to bet (If I were a betting man) that a rate increase by BPA is not nearly as large a problem as is wage, and benefit increases. PERS is part of the problem. The teacher who criticied KMTR ought to take a look at the PERS system and see what it is doing to tax and rate payers. The state is surely headed towards an unsolvable problem as are most areas in the United States that have Pulic Employee Unions. They are a train wreck coming fast.

Really KMTR? I feel personally ashamed of you when I read over your articles and find careless spelling and grammar errors. I am a teacher in this community and find it troubling that you are unable to produce quality journalism. You make our community appear provincial and uneducated. Just read over what you wrote once before posting before tens of thousands of readers. Thank You.
