ROSEBURG, Ore. (KMTR ) -- Coastal Farm and Ranch is a company based in Oregon and Washington. They sell farm and garden supplies and have local ties to Roseburg.

Recently the company asked the Roseburg High School marching band to help out with a little advertising. All 116 marching band members eagerly accepted the opportunity to march in the company's commercial.

Sunday they'll be headed to a ranch near Roseburg to begin shooting the commercial. They'll visit to a similar location in Salem on Sunday.

Band Director Branden Hansen says they've all really enjoyed the process so far.

“So they ended up emailing me and calling me, asking if Roseburg Marching Ensemble was interested in doing that, and of course, we said yes, because not very often do we get an experience like that,” says Hansen. “And it's for Coastal Farm and Ranch, so we're very excited for the opportunity to put our own twist on the jingle many of us in this area know fairly well."

Hansen said the idea started this summer, so he had a hard time keeping the excitement from his students until he got the final okay.

He says the jingle is already recorded, but all the filming will happen this weekend.

The commercial will follow the band as they play and march from a ranch to a Coastal Farm and Ranch store.

Hansen says it should air in Washington and Oregon sometime this fall.
