LOWELL, Ore. (KMTR) -- A break-in reported at the Lowell Post Office this week makes a total of four post office burglaries in Lane County over the past month.

August 20 and 21, burglaries were reported in Elmira, Marcola and on River Road in Eugene. The Postal Service is now offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Postal Inspectors say mail and other items were stolen but wouldn’t reveal exactly what went missing, to protect their investigation. They encourage anyone to come forward with tips, which can remain anonymous.
