Roseburg, Or (KMTR) Fans following the Ducks down to the Rose Bowl might have some company on the highway. The University of Oregon Duck Truck is making its way down I-5 to Pasadena.
The truck stopped off at Home Depot Wednesday as it passed through Roseburg. Dozens of people showed up to snap pictures of the colossal rig. Most have been following the truck online via Twitter and Facebook, where the Duck Truck Team have been posting updates at each stop along the way.
Some even saw the truck on the freeway and decided to follow it until it made a stop. The duck driver says they’ve had a lot of positive feedback.
"Already a lot of people have been honking at us along the way, flashing the "O" at us,” says Jeff Eberhart, “so far we've had a great turnout even though it's raining, people have been showing up and taking a lot of pictures and it's been a lot of fun."
Fans say even though they won't be able to make it to the game, it's nice to see a little bit of Autzen will. Even the Harley that the Duck rides before every game is stashed away in the back.
