Power outage along River Road

EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- River Road area power outage to be repaired by 10 p.m.

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) crews expect to complete repairs on a power line brought down by a falling tree on River Loop 1 near River Road by 10 PM Tuesday.

The tree came down across the power line just after 4:30 PM and caused 185 EWEB customers to lose electric service. Crews arrived within twenty minutes of the incident and started clearing woody debris and making repairs.

All 185 customers affected by the outage should have their service restored by 10 PM. The outage area includes homes on the following streets: Cindy, Dahlia, Lantana, Ferndale, Oak Leaf and Fox Glove as well as River Loop 1 and River Road.
