This is so stupid it is almost beyond comprehension. People will bring their dirty bags (who knows what was in them) into the store, plop it on the counter, spreading germs everywhere. The other people who purchase the paper bags will get half way to their vehicle, the bag will tear and their goods broken and all will stay in the parking lot for people to track around and drive through. Ray's is one of the mose expensive places to shop, their prices are generally way higher than others such as Winco. Whoever came up with banning plastic bags should pay for the lawsuits that will be coming because someone got sick from someone elses dirty grocery bags. I use my plastic bags for so many things, including cleaning up dog leavings. I will miss them so will have to find a place to shop that allows them. The rest who want the bags banned can march their fannies right into the germ tank and good luck.

So proud of this Oregon company! It's about time! Though I'm not currently an active Ray's customer, I now feel more inclined for this sole reason!
