Not trying to sound sarcastic. but if the city and county are in such a budget crunch, I wonder why they do not put such properties for sale on the private market and let people buy them, instead of throwing more taxpayer dollars at them spent for demolishon?.win,win, sell a property,then collect taxes on said property.

Oh Boy! Another hole in the ground! Any bets on how long this one will go vacant? I wonder if the city will outsource the wrecking crews to some low-ball contractor from Washington State?
