Well, come Monday morning, I’ll be “occupying” my car, then “occupying” a machine shop. As a matter of fact, I’ve been “occupying” myself this way since I was 15 years old. No one GAVE me a free education, forgave MY debts or allowed me to camp somewhere for FREE. I pulled myself up by the bootstraps, and so can you. IF you TRY. So, it would seem that the non-workers / non-achievers want the workers / achievers to “give up” some of their earnings. It’s inequality and not fair that I should have more than others! Tisk tisk, sounds a LOT like communism to me, and right out of the communist manifesto. So, “occupy” a park, field or vacant lot somewhere and exercise that free speech. You’re still going nowhere in a hurry. I’ll still be “occupying” a happy, stable and productive life. It would be great if you joined ME, instead of the other way around!

This station has a long history of poor writing and proofreading. Nothing new here.

Thanks KMTR - 10/28/2011 7:23 PM

Thank you KMTR, for being the ONLY local news station to accurately report on events happening at Occupy Eugene. It's unbelievable how the other news stations seem to ignore our press releases and report whatever they want to report. We appreciate your accurate and fact-based reporting and thank you for including a portion of our editorial/press release in your article. Keep on supporting free speech in America! Keep up the good work.

Wow. Isn't there a proof-reader working at the station? "fourth fifth" and "one protesters."
