Sounds like OWS isn't getting support from the community. After reading all of your posts their are a few things I would like to point out. These "losers" are trying to the get attention of legislation or better yet create a functioning world. With all the protest worlwide, yes Wordwide. last I checked 1800 U.S. cities alone, Millions of protesters. Has anything been changed? I would like you to think hard about what I say here...Maybe these protesters are trying to tell YOU something not legislation, Hear them out help them out.

I used to support the OWS people's right to protest, but they keep doing things that has made it harder and harder for me to support them at all. The taking over our city parks. The locking doors of banks. The harbouring runaway children. This is the final straw. There are local businesses inside VRC and how dare they try to tell hard-working people trying to SAVE MONEY by shopping during a day of deals and specials how to spend their hard-earned money. This is a FREE country and we are all allowed to spend and live and shop as we choose. I don't shop Black Friday, but I support others that choose to OVER those that protest it. Shame of the OWS people. They really need to grow up and go about their protests in a more mature manner. Flashmobbing is something bored college kids and criminals do, not thoughtful, mature, adults.

Time to broom those smelly, urine-soaked, disease-ridden shreds-of-human-debris losers and let the taxpayers clean up after them. Maybe someone else would like to use these public areas for a while... Losers now; losers forever...

LMFAO. So the Police have their hands tied, the City Council is inept or unwilling to do anything, but I'll tell you something, get in between a mother/father and their kids' favorite toy and there will be HELL TO PAY.....GURANTEED. Grab your popcorn this is about to get interesting. :)

Listen, not only will my wife not care about those knuckleheads there, she like everone else thats gonna be there is going to be looking for the best deals, not paying attention to some idiot who has nothing better to do. Enough of this already, occupy people, get a life! Let's say what the protest really is, an extention of Saturday Market or the OCF. Just a bunch of people that have no jobs and are happy that way living off the government, being basically "professional protesters". Instead of find a job and contributing to society, they would rather be a drain to it and live off welfare. Do what you want Occupy, it won't matter and will probably have more of a negitive effect towards your so called movement. Its a movement alright, a big pile of one!

I understand people demanding that Congress (or whoever) does something NOW to better this country however, the OCCUPY people are starting to have a negative effect. The general public is going to get fed up with their BS and it's going to get uglier than it already is. And yes, I agree....we can do whatever we want with our money! The people that ARE working and doing something with their lives have worked hard for that money....let them do as they want with it! These protestors are poor, pathetic souls that have nothing better to do than complain to anyone and everyone they can about how unhappy they are! GET A LIFE!!!

I empathize with the Occupy movement, as I have been unable to find full time work for almost two years, despite advanced degrees in engineering. Clearly things are haywire in this country, but I am a bit confused at this particular choice of action. It just doesn't seem like a productive use of their time, or a good way to get their message across. I don't think the patrons of the VRC are the problem, nor are the people who work there.

Geez - take a breath, folks. Nobody is going to stop anybody from spending their money, foolishly or wisely. Heaven forbid that someone suggest applying a certain consciousness to those expenditures: once you get past the wages paid to floor workers/store employees, profits from sales of national brands in national chain stores leave our community. Is that all bad? Of course not. But could we do better? Absolutely.

So, do none of these "occupiers" celebrate Christmas? They never get presents, not even on their birthdays? right. They should just get a life and stop making fools of themselves. I bet if I went to the mall and offered to buy them whatever they wanted from any store, they would change their tune! Pathetic. Have a great time all you shoppers, hope you find great sales and spend to your hearts content!
