MAPLETON, Ore. (KMTR) - New estimates indicate that OR 126W (Florence-Eugene Hwy) could remain partially blocked until approximately 4:30 PM after a log truck lost its load in Mapleton.
The crash occurred at the bridge over the Siuslaw River in Mapleton at milepost 14.55.
Traffic is being flagged through the crash scene in alternating directions. Motorists should anticipate delays and intermittent complete road closures while the highway is cleared.
The crash is east of the junction with OR 36, which would provide an alternate route for some motorists.
