COOS COUNTY, Ore. (KMTR) -- Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier says they’ve indicted a North Bend man who they believe is responsible for the beating death of a man in Coos Bay.

Andrew Davenport, 45, is now charged with murder. The indictment says he’s responsible for attacking Randy Harless, 55, in Coos Bay back in August. Harless was hit several times with a blunt object and also stabbed. He was found in his driveway, barely breathing, and later died at the hospital.

Davenport is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on Monday.
