Has anybody considered that these inept politicians don't understand the unintended result of their actions? It would help the general population of Lane County if we recalled all responsible for this fiasco starting with the mayor and her attempt to sell us the EmX issue. Then we attack PERS. It's them against us.

I heard on the news last night, that they did not have enough time to put the necessary info in the voters pamphlet for Nov. In otherwords they did not have time to figure a way to put it to a vote without having to dedicate proceeds to the General fund instead of a LCSO only levy. They would have had extreme opposition from the public unions if they try to isolate the money to lcso alone. They are going broke, by the way of San Bernadino Calif, Scranton PA, and numerous other cities the liberal media has tried to keep out of the news, and away from the ears and eyes of the tax payer. PERS is going to bankrupt the state, cities, and counties. Even a Democrat State Treasure says it is in trouble, but with the governor, legislature, and judges involved there will be no reform. They will continue, things will keep going down hill, and will finally get to the point that PERS pensioners will lose money when all these agencies go bankrupt. I say just let them do it to themselves, that is the only thing that will stop them.

First stop the lies. EmX is crap. They fed us the same thing when adding the line to Springfield station down Franklin, mainlining junkies to and from downtown Eugene (Which we were told was going to be cleaned up, but no, put a station there and bus'em in for free instead, freaking ingenious). In the process ADDING countless more stop lights and traffic as anyone would know, made it worse and I moved to west Eugene (soon to be worse). Lies... Then get rid of EWEB, another very dangerous waste of money. EWEB's own employees know how crooked they are and yes I said dangerous, as they will leave your "I don't care if you have a new born baby, we are cutting your power" ass in the cold regardless. Oh yes and EWEB lies are intolerable, "we've never had a meter go bad!" Thats a joke:). Start holding people accountable for the tax money they are spending, then maybe, I will pay more. I want to see criminals put in jail and stay there, but if they want more beds, those beds better be for politicians and the EWEB board, otherwise screw it. I hope those not in jail, that should be, can find a way to make life hell for our cities finest crooks!

This is good news, especially after Commissioner Sid Leiken rubber-stamped his vote on Metropolitan Policy Committee, and voted YES to let the Lane transit District waste $95 million for the much flawed West Eugene EmX extension! The Eugene EmX may still be built, if so, it will be a tremendous blow to West Eugene. It will make transit worse, cause congestion, and further inflame the public. So stupid!!

We the people of Lane County and Eugene have to consider how the public unions have decimated any disposable income we citizens used to have and that being on top of local tax's. Have seen how responsible you have NOT been with your budgets will absolutely not vote for any measure asking for more revenue. The very idea of asking for more is like a child begging for more candy. You amateur politicians have allot to learn.

Lane county has one of the highest property tax rates in the U.S. also the city takes a 5 cent per gallon gas tax for road repair( this gas tax was supposed to sunset last January as per the measure as it was written) it did NOT sunset as the city decided to continue to keep charging gas stations the 5 cents a gallon, that we the people still continue to pay to this day. I refuse to vote for any more taxes!. I pay enough money to the government already. WHEN WILL THE GOVERNMENT STOP ASKING FOR MORE MONEY!!!!....NEVER thats when.its time for government to learn to live within its menas as we the people have had to do for the last 20 years.. I gots no more to give lane county, quit asking.
