SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- The body of a Springfield man missing since May was found dead in a heavily wooded area of Marion County, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Davis, 40, of Springfield was last seen on May 23.
Police say search dogs helped locate what they determined to be Davis' "camp" in a heavily wooded area south and west of Wicks Road. Personal belongings were found in the area and then Davis' body.
Davis died of hypothermia, according to the Medical Examiner.
