Eugene (KMTR)  NewsSource 16 was live at the Eugene airport this morning where First Lady Michelle Obama landed amid tight security. The plane she flew in on was marked "United States of America."

We have word that a motorcade will take the First Lady from Eugene to Corvallis. Michelle Obama’s brother, Craig Robinson is the head basketball coach at Oregon State University.

There are no announcements of any planned public appearances by the First Lady.

Craig Robinson was hired as head basketball at OSU in April of 2008. Prior to coming to OSU he was head coach at Brown University.

NewsSource has a reporter on-scene in Corvallis and will bring you details of the visit on NewsSource 16 starting at 5pm.

Thank you @catnurse. Michelle and her husband are leaders of this nation. Their pressure is insurmountable. Her brother is said to live in Oregon and is head coach of the college b-ball team. She deserves like every other leader's wife and children the upmost protection and comfort. @rugerbabe - the Kool-aid comment was very racist and your attitude is why I have very little faith in this country's future. And I don't have supreme faith in Barrack at all. He is making was very bad liberal decisions. But Bush (the Bushs') made some very selfish and bad conservative decision; as did most presidents. "Pick your poison"...

Michelle needed a rest to prepare for her vacation on the Vineyard coming up. She's is a lazy, spendthrift bum.

The sheer unmitigated gall. As the market falls 634 points and hubby is off to fundraisers. Hope she gets back in time to head off to Martha's Vineyard with friends and family. How much you want to bet the plane will be carrying her relatives back to share in the vacation next weekend.

Some say it is a private trip. Is that her "private" jet with the words: "United States of America" painted on the side?

To "asever, due to the fact I have some self respect, I would never admit that I work for my wife but if you can't hold a job elsewhere, go for it. Now I know why you like Obama, he will take care of you with our money.
