I have been to one event here and won't ever go back. I'am older and found it to be very uncomfortable, elbow to elbow, no leg room, have to stand up to let people in to there seats, very steep for older people with vertigo problems, in upper levels, just not impressed at all with the new arena!

Anyone who believed the pr nonsense of those that promoted this venue should be considered an idiot. It made no sense to build that arena to host anything other than bball. This Eugene, not Portland, not Las Vegas. Why would conventions or major performances come here, we simply don't have the population to warrant the trip. This was about some politically connected people wanting to get the contractor fees for building the place, the garbage spewed to sell it is just that. As the economy gets worse, this thing will become a major white elephant and burden for OR taxpayers. A tiny few are laughing all the way to the bank....
