North Bend (KMTR) – Search and rescue teams in Coos County are searching for a missing man who may be in need of medication. They are asking for help from anyone who may have seen 59-year-old Wyman Wade Weathersby of North Bend.

Weathersby was last seen a week ago when neighbors said he left his home for a walk on the beach.

He is diabetic and most likely does not have the medication he needs with him.

The Coos County Sheriff's Office found his car early Wednesday morning parked on Transpacific Parkway near Weyerhaeuser Overlook, near North Bend.

Weathersby, who uses Wade as his first name, was last seen wearing blue jeans and a denim jacket. He was driving a 1997 green Acura Integra.

Anyone who may have seen Weathersby or his car is asked to call the Coos County Sheriff’s Office.

Article says "was last seen a week ago". Why can't we have the date? And why are not the articles dated? This could be a story that was last fall and moved to the front because of popular interest. Please can we have the date? In the case of Search and Rescue, the date determines everything. Possible time and distance of travel, possible weather at the time, etc.
