EUGENE (KMTR) – Eugene police say they’ve caught a man who’s been breaking into homes and apartments near the University of Oregon.

Shawn Philbrick, 37, is now facing two counts of first degree criminal trespass. Police say he does not have a known address.

Officers say he broke into four different residences last week and over the weekend near campus. One time he was found hiding in a closet, another time just sitting in the hallway. Police say he didn’t steal anything and left when the people inside told him to go.

He obviously needs help. At least he's really not harming anyone. But very scary and odd at the same time. Glad they got him. Maybe he can get some help with his problems.
