Sutherlin, Or (KMTR) At about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night, DINT Detectives and DCSO patrol deputies served a search warrant at the residence at494 Deady Crossing Road in Sutherlin. They arrested six people in connection to meth dealing at the home.
The search warrant was a result of a long term investigation into the delivery of meth from California into Douglas County. Police say the meth was then distributed locally by the residents at the home.
The search resulted in the arrest of Ernest Ray Ballard, David Ernest Klingler, Anthony Morones, William Edward Morones, Keri Lynn Allen, and Stacia Michelle McClullough, one other subject was cited and released. Police say William and Anthony Morones were meth dealers from Modesto and Stockton, California.
Investigators say a search of the residence found meth in several different locations including about two ounces in the front room, over six ounces in a hidden room off of a workshop, a .32 caliber revolver and $9700.00 in cash was located in a rental vehicle belonging to the Morones. Police say the suspects also had approximately $1900.00 on their person.
The total weight of the meth seized during the search warrant was over 1/2 pound Police say. The currency seized totaled just over $13,000.00. Several digital scales and packaging material were also seized. Two rifles were also seized from the residence.
Investigators say the residence was also found to have a medical marijuana grow belonging to Klingler and there was an overage of plants and processed marijuana. Three mature marijuana plants about two feet tall were seized in addition to a sizeable quantity of processed marijuana. Several morphine tablets were also seized.
DINT say they are continuing their investigation and there will likely be additional charges filed on some of the above listed subjects.
