Albany (KMTR) - A Linn County woman, charged with a crime related to the death of a Lebanon teenager, was indicted Thursday and arraigned Friday afternoon in Albany.  Her bail was set at $18,000.

Adrian Rodriguez, 38, is charged with eight counts of providing alcohol to a minor, and one count of frequenting a location where controlled substances are being used.

On January 18th of this year, 14-year-old Quentin Thacker was found dead, face down in a drainage ditch in Lebanon.  His body was found by children playing in the area.

An autopsy revealed Thacker died by drowning.  He had marijuana in his system and a blood alcohol level of .21%.

Linn County investigators say Quentin died after using marijuana and consuming alcohol at a party hosted by Rodriguez.

Rodriguez' next court appearance is set for November 16.

Providing drugs or alcohol to people who are already high endangers not only that person but people he may come into contact with while impaired. I hope others will learn from this boy's tragic death. How sad for his family and friends.

That was a very good friend of mine. He was such a good friend. I miss him alot, and i wish he didnt have to die like that, that women should be in jail for a long time. For his poor death. R.I.P Quentin
