Lane commissioners settle on redistricting plan

Every 10 years county commissioners are required to rework the lines, based on population counts from the U.S. Census.

I personally feel that those Lane County Commissioners - whose districts serve the McKenzie River Valley - will continue to serve those constituents as pragmatists, not ideologues. Water rights, duties, etc. are not mutually exclusive - so no one concept of protecting same should dominate; in a sense, 'all are stakeholders.'
