This lawsuit was found to be without merit, the DOJ said as much, and the guys who filed it knew that is was a garbage lawsuit. For the yobs on this thread who are bashing Rob, they should be yapping about the guys who came up with this garbage in the first place and demand that they pay for the costs of doing what amounted to a smear campaign on Rob Handy.

Even if the buck did stop with Handy he would just ask for people to pay it for him.

Here's another great example of how rules and laws never seem to mater to the left when they are in the wrong. After all, their motives are always pure and they are doing the lords work, trying to prevent those evil Republicans from imposing their morality on everyone. After all, with such important work, the ends justify the means right? Go ahead Mr Handy, blame your opponent or his supporters, blame the rich, blame the vast right wing conspiracy, heck blame George W Bush if you like but I have noticed the buck never seams to stop with you sir. Why is that? Are you just always in the wrong place at the wrong time? Lane County deserves so much better then you sir and in this election, I hope the voters send you back to whatever rock you crawled out from under!

People, there are laws, and rules. If he violated either, he does not deserve to be in public office. If he did no wrong, it will be found as such and he will be better off for it. Look at our politicians in general, Republican, Democrat, or whatever. They will do or say anything to get elected. What message does that convey to our young people. Lie, cheat, and steal, the American way. What happened to HONOR!

Does Mr. Brown believe himself to be some kind of victim who was unable to communicate his thoughts to Rob, and simply leave the matter between the two of them...like mature, stable and grown up men should be able to do? Is Mr. Brown a "troubled" soul? Was saying, "No, I just can't", really, really hard for him, so he went and got a lawyer? If Mr. Handy had harassed, embarrassed or threatened Mr. Brown into helping him, then I'd understand the case - now, Mr. Brown has embarrassed himself, and "solicited" negative and suspicious consideration in this community towards Mr. Farr.
