Sutherlin, OR (KMTR) An ipod touch found in a parking lot lands a man behind bars. Police say the mobile device was loaded with child pornography.

A gas station attendant discovered the device. While trying to figure out who owned it, police say he stumbled upon dozens of suggestive photos of underage girls.

Officers say they had been building a case for six months, before finding who they think dropped the ipod, and getting a search warrant. They’ve arrested thirty three year old Jason Daniel Goodman. Now other electronic devices from Goodman’s home are in crime lab being combed for evidence.

Police say they were able to positively match Goodman to the ipod by cross referencing his location with times and wifi hotspots where the photos where downloaded.

When officers spoke with Goodman about the ipod, he admitted to owning the device and downloading the pictures. Goodman is in the Douglas County jail tonight on a 200,000 dollar bail.
