EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- The Lane Ice Center is open during the County Fair for the first time in several years. Arena staff say the hot weather has sent lots of visitors inside to cool down, even if they're not looking to skate.
The ice is open for a couple of public skate sessions again Friday. It's free with fair admission; you just need to pay $2 to rent skates. Thursday night the hockey tournament starts. Those games run through Sunday and anyone is welcome to come watch.
