Cottage Grove (KMTR) – A 66-year-old woman from Cottage Grove was killed early Saturday morning in a single-car crash on Interstate 5 about 5 miles north of Cottage Grove.
Oregon State Police troopers say Linda A. Scott was traveling northbound about 5:45 a.m. when her 2006 Chrysler 300 went across the right shoulder, flipped over and landed upside-down in a water-filled ditch. The driver died at the scene.
No other cars were involved in the accident.
