EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) – Big names and famous faces returned to Eugene on Saturday as a part of the Sports Illustrated Heisman Tour.

At Saturday’s Ducks game against USC, fans also got the chance to meet and take photographs with former players Dennis Dixon and Reuben Droughns. Dixon and Droughns were both Pac-10 big shots. They were drafted to the NFL after college.

Dixon continues to play quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Droughns has spent time with the Broncos, Browns and Giants.

Droughns told NewsSource 16 he was happy to return to Eugene. Everywhere he goes, he said there is excitement for the Ducks.

"Its definitely a blessing coming back here to meet all the Oregon fans and seeing all the energy that Oregon is creating right now.. I mean I try to make it back to Oregon as much as I can I try to get a game, I try to come up to a game about 2 or 3 times a year, you know you got the atmosphere going and were going to give them what they want today,” he said.

Fans also got a bunch of freebies at the event. Contests and games were also provided.

The next and final stop on the tour is the championship game.
