NORTH BEND, Ore. (KMTR) -- Weather may have contributed to the cause of a fire at the Southwest Regional Airport in North Bend early Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported just after midnight Monday and fire crews spent much of the night fighting the fire that destroyed a large hangar.

A severe wind storm may have brought down power lines and triggered the fire.

The North Bend Fire Department told NewsSource 16 that crews from 5 other fire departments were called in to help.

It is not know yet what may have been destroyed inside the hangar.

No injuries were reported.
