Eugene (KMTR) - A South Eugene High School musician whose guitar was stolen in August is now playing again after an anonymous donor bought her a new instrument.

NewsSource 16 reported that 17-year-old Molly Guardino's guitar was stolen while she was parked near the Lane County Fair.

One of our viewers, who wants to remain anonymous, saw the story and bought a new guitar. He brought it to our offices for us to surprise her. With help from Molly’s mother, that's exactly what we did.

We took the guitar to South Eugene High School and surprised her during choir practice.

“Thank you so much!” Molly said after she got over the shock. “It's amazing that you would have the generosity to do that; to give something to someone you don't even know.”

Molly also received an anonymous $100 donation.

If you would like to hear her play and sing, Molly's next performance will be at Sylvan Ridge Winery on Sunday, November 27.
