I realize that some people think because of this boy's age he should be given mercy, but what kind of mercy did he show to the man and woman he killed while in the commission of a felony. Did he take the car without his father's knowledge? And how did he get the keys unless his dad gave them to him? No, he deserves whatever punishment dealt to him by the court. He made an adult decision and deserves to be treated like an adult.

This story angers me! Total disrespect for those that were killed and their families! I feel bad for the parents of this child because now they are suffering for the inexcusable decisions that this moron made! I have no sympathy for him no matter what his reason is for this. Thank you to the judge for keeping him where he belongs. I'm sure he'll just do more harm once he's released! 16 years old is old enough to know better! I agree with others here...thrown away the key!

Quote from story, ---“The world can reach out with a little compassion to the victims of the tragedy, all of the victims, including Manny, this beautiful spirit”--- How on earth can anyone say that little “Manny” is a victim in this? He was the perpetrator of this, and a murderer. I could go on and on, but for once, I’m speechless!

So,where were all of you before this 16 yr old, made the choice to run from police & go over 100mph,killing 2 innocent people? The road he was on,was not a sudden decision. He was already on a wrong road in life.If you had so much concern about him, then why did you wait till he killed someone? What a slap in the face of the families that will never see these 2 people again.Go home.He is where he belongs. You answer in this life for the choices you make.Especially when your choices, kill innocent people.
