EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- Lane County detectives have identified the second victim in a south Eugene double homicide. Anne McLucas was a 71-year-old retired University of Oregon professor and former dean of the School of Music.

On Saturday, deputies arrested Johan Gillette, 36, of Eugene, on two counts of murder. He also faces charges in the death of 73-year-old James Gillette.

About 7:00 PM Friday, neighbors on Needham Road called 911 after they went to check on the people in a nearby home and realized something was wrong. On Saturday volunteer search and rescue teams searched the 650-acre of property, scouring for evidence.

The younger Gillette was arrested and taken to the Lane County jail to await arraignment.
