JOSEPH'S FORECAST
January 18, 2013

This high pressure area is not going anywhere until early next week. That means we won't see much if any change in our weather until then, so the coast and the mountains will continue to have sunny warm afternoons and the inland valleys will stay foggy and cold. If you live in the foggy areas, a short drive east or west will get you into the sun.

Early next week a weak front will push clouds into our area and as it moves through late Tuesday or early Wednesday it should break up the valley fog. Hopefully there will be enough wind to clear out the cold smoggy air from the valleys for awhile and we can warm up some.

Saturday:  Stagnant foggy air in the valleys with mostly fair skies above, 50 / 56 above fog, 37 / 42 in the fog.

Sunday:  Stagnant foggy air in the valleys with mostly fair skies above, 50 / 56 above fog, 37 / 42 in the fog.

Monday:  Morning valley fog with mostly fair skies above, 52 / 57 coast, 43 / 47 inland.
